Lemon Vehicles - The Answer Is In The $Beans$

The real relationship between dealerships and manufacturers, and their customers begins the instant dealerships and manufacturers suspect that a consumer has a lemon. Thereafter all their actions are directed toward making the consumer give up and go away.

This is so unbelievably callous that the average consumer cant believe its happening. There seem to be no answers to their questions. And anyone who has experienced the endless misery and disappointment of owning a lemon vehicle has many unanswered questions. For example:

More on Complexity and the Lemon Vehicle

Remember when you opened the hood of your car and saw the ground beneath the engine? Now you open the hood and there's not enough room left in there for an underfed mouse. The space shuttle cockpit is child's play by comparison. Do people actually work on this thing! Not unless they have fingers like a Rhesus monkey, can see through solid metal like Superman, and have advanced degrees in engineering and computers. That's right computers!

Nobiliary Law - What Is It?

I have elsewhere defined nobiliary law as "national legislation, or international or national customs, regulating nobiliary issues. In many cases this is not codified, but rather a set of rules and traditions having gained acceptance" (see my book at http://www.findyournobleancestors.com).

Defective Product Lawyer Says: Buyer Be Aware

In the past, the rule of the day was buyer beware. It was up to consumers to inform and protect themselves from irresponsible companies and dangerous products. If companies produce dangerous or defective products, consumers can sue them for the injuries suffered as a result. Strict product liability makes everyone in the production process, from component manufacturers to distributors, responsible for the safety of the product.

Honoring the Copyrights of Composers, Too

Many photographers use music to enhance their photography. But since music is a work protected by copyright law, make sure that you honor the copyright of the composer, too.

Most photographers recognize that copying music from a friend or downloading from a music sharing website is illegal. But even if you purchased the CD or song outright, you may be infringing on the copyrights if you use the music for more than personal purposes.

Maritime Admiralty Law: A Short History

Maritime law is a legal body that regulates ships and shipping. As sea-borne transportation is one of the most ancient channels of commerce, rules for maritime and trade disputes developed very early in recorded history. Modern admiralty law, often called simply admiralty or maritime law, has its origins in the classical Rhodian law. No primary written specimen of the Rhodian law has survived, but it is alluded to in Roman and Byzantine legal codes as well as the customs of the Hanseatic League, the dominant trading power of the Middle Ages and Early Modern eras.
